Born in 1960, David Kirk graduated from the Ruskin school of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford in 1983. He is currently Head of the History of Art department at Uppingham School. Kirk’s pictures are notable for their flowing, dynamic compositions and curious, encircling perspectives which only serve to highlight the subject matter.

The RONA Group of Artists evolved from the RONA Gallery in Mayfair (1985 - 2009). During the period 2000-2009 David Kirk showed regularly with the group and had his own one man shows. In 2001 (The Manor); 2004 (Getting Away); 2006 (Vision of Florence).
