Geoffrey Harrison, British (1974-)

Artist's Biography

Harrison was born in Manchester in 1974. He graduated with a BA in Fine Art printmaking from the Hull School of Art and won the Nortec prize for Fine Art in 1996. After living and working in Japan for some years, Harrison returned to the UK to complete a Masters degree and now lives in Bloomsbury with a studio in Deptford.

Harrison’s figurative work is often an expressive approach to realism, combining elements of painting, drawing and printmaking. His landscapes and tableaux scenes focus on the dramatic geology and flora of places with specific personal resonance. He has exhibited in solo and group shows in the UK and Japan including, recently, the Art Workers Guild and was commissioned for the Bloomsbury Festival. His work is in private collections around the world.
