Artist's Biography
Michael Bennallack Hart was born in Sussex in 1948. He studied at Ravensbourne College of Art, London from 1966-70. In the 1970's and 80's he worked as an advertising director and illustrator, while continuing to paint and exhibiting in New York. His art is in the tradition of Romantic landscape painters but his enigmatically melodic landscapes, in daylight and moonlight, have a powerfully contemporary feeling. His work is held in private, public and corporate collections around the world.
